Littlefield High School will be honoring Veterans of Lamb County in a Veteran’s Day Program on Thursday, Nov. 7th.If you have served our country, LHS would love to have you attend their program.

Movie Night at the Library

Halloween Family Movie Night is Thursday, Oct. 17. Crafts will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the movie, “Casper”, will begin at 5 p.m. Come and enjoy a spectacular evening.Teen Night Murder Mystery and costume contest with prizes, will be on Thursday, Oct. 24 starting at 6 p.m. and continuing until 8 p.m.

Lfd. Band Boosters hosting Thanksgiving Lunch on Nov. 10

The Littlefield Marchin’ Cats Band Boosters are proud to announce the return of the LHS Marchin’ Cats Annual Thanksgiving Lunch, which will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10th.“First and foremost, we want to say thank you for supporting our LJHS and LHS Marchin’ Cats,” they said.

Littlefield School Board to meet Oct. 21

The Littlefield Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in Regular Session on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Jerry Blakely Administration Building.

Martin Duran wins Week 7 Football Contest

Week seven of the Lamb County Leader-News Football Contest was a high-scoring affair for contestants, as our winner this week managed a perfect score.This week, Martin Duran takes the top spot, finishing with a mark of 20-0.

Trinity Church set to host annual Pumpkin trail Oct. 19

Trinity Church will be hosting the annual Community Pumpkin Trail on October 19th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Crescent Park in Littlefield.This year’s event is led by Rosalinda Montes, Pastor Billy Montes’ wife. Montes got involved with Trinity Church when she was 21 years old.

Anton Cemetery Assoc. to hold annual fundraiser

The Anton Cemetery Association is sponsoring a fundraiser lunch, which will be held onThe fundraiser will begin at 11 a.m. until they run out of supplies.The meal will include a Hamburger, chips and a drink and will cost $10 per plate. However, any extra donations over that are happily accepted.

Saluting the Members of our Local 4-H Club

The Lamb Healthcare Center “Team Builder’s” Trunk or Treat will be held again this year in the parking lot in front of the hospital on October 31, 2024.

Annual Pumpkin Trail coming soon!

Trinity Church will be hosting the annual Community Pumpkin Trail on October 19th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Crescent Park in Littlefield.This is a free, family-friendly event, with games and prizes, hot cocoa and a hay ride. There will also be a photo booth, popcorn and a cake walk.
