Annual Pumpkin Trail canceled due to anticipated bad weather forecast

The Pumpkin Trail Committee has decided to cancel the 2024 Pumpkin Trail due to potential unfavorable weather conditions on Saturday.They know many businesses and organizations put a lot of time and resources into preparing for the pumpkin trail and they do not take that lightly.

Early voting for Nov. 5 General Election begins Monday, Oct. 21

Lamb County’s registered voters may begin voting early for the Nov. 5, 2024, General Election on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Early voting in person will begin at the Lamb County Courthouse County Clerk’s Office located at 100 6th Dr. Rm 103, beginning Monday, Oct.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $3.8 Billion in Sept.

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled nearly $3.85 billion in September, 1.5 percent more than in September 2023. The majority of September sales tax revenue is based on sales made in August and remitted to the agency in September.
