Week eight of the Lamb County Leader-News Football Contest has come and gone leaving just four weeks left in our contest.This week, Alma Castillo won the contest, finishing with a mark of 16-4, while Lonnie Neinast finished second with a record of 155.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team dropped a heartbreaker on Friday to the Muleshoe Mules, 55-51.With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 5-3 overall, 1-1 in district play.

SPCAA announces Child and Adult Care Food Program

South Plains Community Action Association (SPCAA) would like to announce their policy for free, and reduced priced meals served under the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Each facility and SPCAA have a copy of the policy, which anyone may review.

Julia Rodriguez, 91, and a lifetime resident of Littlefield, TX, is a Breast Cancer Survivor of 11 years and a Kidney Cancer Survivor of 5 years. She is the mother of nine children, grandmother of 23 grandkids, 35 great grandkids and 15 great, great grandkids.We Love you!
