Hello Friends and Patrons of the library! May is finally here! And with it comes another newsletter. As for the highlights of this month, a very important day is Mother’s Day,which is Sunday, May 12th! So, Thank You to all you mothers out there for all that you do.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team swept the Crane Golden Cranes this past weekend, 2-0, at Seminole to claim the Class 3A Bidistrict Championship and advanced to the 3AArea Round. Eric Saenz, Reese Rogers win respective elections

The General Election took place on Saturday May 4, 2024 and the results from the election are as follows: The race between Robert Nichols and Eric Saenz for City Council District 1 seat went to Saenz, who received 63.6% of votes, including 12 votes during early voting and two votes on election day. Nichols received six votes during early voting and two votes on election day.

Commissioners hold special meeting Mon.

The Commissioner’s Court of Lamb County held a special meeting on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Lamb County Courthouse in Littlefield. Lamb County Judge James DeLoach called the meeting to order.
