Wolverines well represented on All-District Teams

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team bowed out of the play-offs in the Regional round, falling to #2 Borden County. The Wolverines were well represented on the District two AllDistrict teams with junior, Evan DeLeon, winning Six-Man Player of the Year and Head Coach Israel DeLeon winning Six-Man Coach of the year.

WOLVERINES FALL TO COYOTES IN REGIONAL PLAY-OFF

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team saw their season come to an end on Friday night in Slaton, at the hands of the Six-Man Division I, #2 Borden County Coyotes, 71-16. With the loss, the Wolverines finish the season with a mark of 7-4 overall, and were District and Bidistrict champions.

Lady Wolverines take down Smyer on the road, 67-36

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team added another victory to their record on Tuesday, as they went on the road and took down the Smyer Lady Cats, 67-36. With the win, they improve to 2-1 overall on the season.
