The Sudan Nettes finished ninth overall as a team on Tuesday at the Region I-2A Cross Country Meet, which took place at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. The Nettes finished the meet with 270 points.

Lady Wolverines win season-opener over Muleshoe, 62-40

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team picked up a win in their season-opener on Monday over Muleshoe, 62-40. Sophomore, Halee Toscano, led the team in scoring with 19 points, to go along with six rebounds, two steals and one assist, while junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, tallied 17 points, nine rebounds, two steals, one block and one assist.

WOLVERINES BEST WHITE DEER IN REMATCH 56-36

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team earned their first Six-Man play-off victory on Thursday, as they took down the White Deer Bucks, 56-36, to earn the Bi-district trophy. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 7-3 overall on the season.
