WEST TEXAS RAGE WINS ROOSEVELT SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS – The Littlefield High School girl’s softball team went undefeated, winning a tournament at Roosevelt last weekend. They defeated Slaton, 10-4 and Sundown, 8-3, to advance to the Championship game, where they defeated Sundown again, 6-1.

Olton Football Camp July 25-27

The Olton Mustang Football Camp is coming up on July 25 th through the 27 th , for incoming third through eighth graders. The camp will take place at the Olton HS Field House and Practice Field. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day.

So, I’m taking a break from my vacation story, because Thursday was my wife’s birthday and I wanted to show her some love, because she doesn’t always get the recognition she deserves. First off, Happy Birthday Marisa, I love you and hope you had an amazing day on Thursday.

All-State Honors

POST SEASON HONORS – Sudan junior utility player, Gracyn Shultz, continues to rack up the postseason honors, as she was recently named to the TGCA All-State Softball Team, as well as the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State third team as a Utility player.

TPWD Accepting 2022-2023 Drawn Hunt Permit Applications

AUSTIN – New opportunities and scenery are available to hunters this fall through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s (TPWD) drawn hunt permits program, now accepting applications for a shot at almost 10,000 permits in 62 hunt categories.
