Wildcats season comes to a close against Idalou

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball teams season came to an end Friday afternoon, as they fell in game two of their 3A Area Round Play-off Baseball Series to the Idalou Wildcats, 12-7, at Lubbock- Cooper High School. The Wildcats end their season with a mark of 14-12 overall.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team fell to the Idalou Wildcats on Thursday, 10-0, during game one of their three-game Area Play-off series at Lubbock-Cooper High School.

Mustangs win first play-off series in program history

The Olton Mustangs swept the Smyer Bobcats 11-10 Thursday and 6-4 Friday to take the best of three UIL Class 2A Bi-District High School Baseball series in Littlefield. Game 1 – Olton 11, Smyer 10 Olton opened game one with a seven run first inning off Smyer’s Kaden Price.

Wildcats dominate game one over Stanton, 19-1

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team took game one of their three-game play-off series with the Stanton Buffaloes on Friday in dominating fashion, winning the contest, 19-1, in Lamesa. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 13-11 overall on the year.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team punched their ticket to the Class 3A Area round of the Playoffs, behind a perfect game pitched by sophomore, Major McNeese, as the Wildcats took game two, 10-0, in Lamesa. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 14-11 overall on the season.
