The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they placed ninth overall with a total of 262 points. Freshman, Addisyn Harrell, led the team, placing 17 th overall with a time of 13:59.5.

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they brought home first place with a total of 100 points. Sophomore, Taytum Goodman, led the team placing first overall, clocking a time of 11:24.7.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity cross country team competed at the Lubbock ISD Invitational on Saturday, where they placed fifth overall with a total of 127 points. The Wolverines were led by senior, Josh Samaron, who placed 9 th , clocking a time of 19:25.4, while senior, Trace Goodman, also medaled, clocking a time of 20:08.9.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team dropped a heart-breaker on Saturday in Denver City, falling to the Fillies in five sets, 2-3. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 1-1 in district play.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity football team won their Homecoming game over the Hale Center Owls on Friday, 33-12, at Mustang Stadium. With the win, the Mustangs improve to, 3-1, overall on the season.

The Wildcat Magic came up short during the Littlefield Wildcat’s Homecoming game on Friday, as they fell to the Abernathy Antelopes, 35-20, at Wildcat Stadium. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 3-2 overall on the season.

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity football team had their Homecoming spoiled by the Crosbyton Chieftains, as they fell on Friday, 26-20. With the loss, the Hornets fell to 0-5 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team throttle O’Donnell on Friday, 75-28. With the win, the Wolverines improve to 3-1 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team is coming off of their second consecutive win last week over O’Donnell, as they get ready to go on the road this week to take on White Deer. Head Coach Israel DeLeon talked about their win over O’Donnell, saying, “I felt we played OK.
