Wolverines take third at State Golf Tournament

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ Varsity golf team capped off the 2023 season with a third-place finish at the State Golf Tournament in Kyle, Texas, this week. The team shot a combined score of 709; 351 on day one and 358 on day two of the tournament.
WILDCAT BASKETBALL CAMP 2023 - incoming 5th through 9th graders competed at the Wildcat youth basketball camp this week, where they learned fundamentals, as well as continuing to sharpen their skill sets. Goodman, Samaron bring home state track medals

The Springlake- Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity track team finished fourth overall at the State Track Meet with 36 points. Junior, Taytum Goodman, brought home three gold medals, as well as setting three State Records. In the women’s 3,200- meter run, Goodman cruised to a time of 10: 56.

Goodman, Noack and Gonzales represent Lamb County at Girl’s State Golf Tourney

Lamb County had three individual girl’s competitors compete at the State Golf Tournaments in Austin and Kyle, Tx last week. The Class 1A Girl’s State Golf Tournament took place on May 15th and 16th at Plum Creek Golf Course, where Springlake-Earth junior, Taytum Goodman, competed.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ youth basketball camp kicked off Monday with two sesssions. one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Campers worked on dribbling, ballhandling, passing and layups during the first day of camp on Monday. The camp will run through Thursday.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team came up short in game two of their Class 2A Regional Quarterfinal Series against New Home Thursday afternoon, 15-5, bringing their season to an end after a historic run for the program.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity baseball team’s magical season continued this past weekend, when they swept the Sanford-Fritch Eagles, 2-0, in their Class 2A Area Play-off series at West Plains High School in Amarillo.
