Wildcats take down FLoydada, 68-58

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team used a strong finish to put away the Floydada Whirlwinds on Tuesday, 68-58. With the win, the Wildcats improved to 9-0 overall on the season.

Lady Wolverines finish fourth at 2023 Way Out West Tournament

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team finished fourth at the 2023 Way Out West Basketball Tournament in Whiteface last weekend, falling to Silverton, 53-49, in the third-place game on Saturday. With the loss, the Lady Wolverines fall to 2-5 overall on the year.

Wildcats take down Floydada, 73-48

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team won their second game of pool play on Thursday at the 2023 Roosevelt Tournament, as they took down Floydada, 73-48. With the win, the Wildcats improved to, 2-0 in tournament play, 60 overall on the season.

Lady Cats fall to Lady Wind, 54- 50

The Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team dropped a nail-biter to the Floydada Lady Wind on Thursday afternoon, 54-50, in their second game of the day at the 2023 Roosevelt Basketball Tournament. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 1-1 in tournament play, 5-3 overall on the season.

Wildcats slay Tigers, 51-42, to claim Roosevelt Tournament Championship

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team defeated the Blue Ridge Tigers on Saturday, 51-42, to claim the 2023 Roosevelt Tournament Championship. With the win, the Wildcats finished the tournament 4-0, improving to 8-0 overall on the season.
The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team went 5-0 this week in Lamesa at the O.W. Follis Tournament to claim first place. On Thursday, they defeated Stanton, 86-34, and Socorro, 57-29, and on Friday they defeated Borger, 74-66, and Post, 82-16, before defeating Coloroado High School on Saturday in the Championship game, 68-34. The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team suffered a tough loss on the road on Tuesday, as they fell to the Hereford Lady Whitefaces, 39-36. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to, 4-2 overall on the season.
