The Olton Mustangs and Fillie were well represented in post-season honors, headlined by senior, Nate Urbina, making the TABC All-Region Team.
Urbina was also District 4-2A Co-MVP, while senior, Jimmy Munoz, earned Co-Defenisve MVP honors for the district and freshman, Johnathan Cooper, was named the district’s Newcomer of the Year.
On the girl’s side, junior, Analise Ramage, was a first-team All-District selection and on the boy’s side, sophomore, Sebastian Sparkman, and junior, Alan Vasquez, were named first-team All-District selections.
Second team All-District selections included junior, Raymond Ramirez, freshman, Wyatt Nelson, senior, Aspen Struve, and freshman, Kaleigh Geldenhuys.
On the boy’s side, freshman, Brady Azam, was named to the All-District Utility Team. On the girl’s side, senior, Evelyn Matute, earned All-District defensive team honors.
Senior, Emma Acker, and sophomore, Sarah Chavira earned Honorable Mention.
On the girl’s side, Acker, Struve, Kathryn Wilson, Amie Beelitz and Kambri Ruiz were Academic All-District selections.
