The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the Region I3A Regional Track and Field Meet at Elmer Gray Stadium in Abilene on Friday and Saturday.

3rd Quavience Busby 44-02.25 The men’s 4x100-meter relay team of Montalvo, Zane Champion, Martinez and Hill finished 14th in the preliminaries with a time of 44.93, while the men’s 4x200meter relay team of Montalvo, Markus Rosales, Green and Martinez finished 16th with a time of 1:36.44.
The women’s 4x200-meter relay team of Kennadi Hanlin, Brianna Martinez, Madison McNeese and Bryndle Ray finished 15th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:54.45, while Lauren Turpen finished 15th in the women’s 400-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 1:05.69. The women’s 4x100-meter relay team of Hanlin, Martinez, Ray and Coffman finished 12th in the preliminaries with a time of 52.06.
