The first annual Sudan Basketball Camp is set for May 28th through May 30th at Sudan Gymnasium.
The camp is for incoming 3rd through 9th graders.
Third through 6th graders will have camp from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Seventh throuh 9th graders will have camp from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
The camp is under the direction of Coach Gallagher, the head girl’s basketball coach, as well as Coach Gray the head boy’s basketball coach at Sudan High School. They will also be assisted by current Hornets and Nettes varsity and junior varsity players.
The objective of this camp is an instructional camp with emphasis on fundamental skills. Each camper will receive individual attention in all aspects of the game. A strong emphasis will be placed on team play.
The cost of the camp is $35 for one entry, $15 for each additional entry for siblings.
The camp fee will include planned activities each day, instruction in fundamentals, contests, competitive games, individual instruction, specific practices designed to mirror what the varsity teams are doing and a camp t-shirt.
WHAT TO BRING
Each camper should wear practice clothes and shoes suitable for the gym floor.
