Sudan cross country teams compete at Sundown

The Sudan varsity cross country teams competed at the Oil Patch Invitational Cross Country Meet in Sundown on Saturday where the Nettes placed 14th overall with 317 total points. The Hornets did not have enough runners to qualify for the team results.

Lillianna Sanchez led the team, finishing 52nd overall with a time of 15:53.24, while Aubrey Lopez finished 58th with a time of 16:02.54, and Carly Groetken finished 78th with a time of 16:32.22.

Kalissa Harris finished 81st with a time of 16:42.50, while Emma Armstrong finished 95th with a time of 17:37.35, and Isaura Jimenez finished 102nd with a time of 18:17.89.

On the boys’ side, junior, Alan Flores, finished 72nd with a time of 21:43.84, while Jason Bohler finished 109th with a time of 25:14.31, and senior, Josue Cervera, finished 114th with a time of 27:24.90.

The Hornets and Nettes will compete at the District Cross County Meet at LCU on October 10th.
