The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ JV cross country team competed at the Plainview Invitational Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Running Waters Draw Regional Park, where they placed second overall.
Freshman, Riley Furr, placed ninth overall with a time of 16:08.26, while junior, Jenna Bridges, finished 12 th overall with a time of 16:13.52. senior, Micaela Fuentes, finished 17 th overall with a time of 17:05.65, while sophomore, Adamarie Hernandez, finished 18 th with a time of 17:14.16.
Freshman, Jaritza Sotelo, finished 19 th overall with a time of 17:25.70, while sophomore, Sydney Furr, finished 21 st with a time of 17:30.03. Junior, Halee Toscano, finished 26 th with a time of 17:48.83, while Annabel Anchondo finished 39 th with a time of 20:04.48, and sophomore, Emily Cruz, finished 45 th with a time of 20:58.59.
The Lady Wolverines will be competing again on Sept. 25 th at Lubbock at 1 p.m.
