NETTES TAKE FIRST AT LCU INVITATIONAL

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity cross country team took first place in their division at the LCU Chaparral Invitational this past weekend with a combined time of 1:15.00.50.

The Nettes were led by senior, Yahaira Martinez, who placed third overall with a time of 14:26.00. Junior, Hailey Flores, placed fifth overall with a time of 14:44.30, while junior, Heidi Pinion-Muniz, placed seventh with a time of 15:04.10.

Junior, Olivia Montes, finished ninth with a time of 15:09.80, while junior, Elora Thorn, finished 11 th with a time of 15:36.30 and junior, Lizseth Sital, finished 24 th with a time of 17:80.30. The Nettes will be back in action on Saturday when they compete at Smyer.
