Mustang cross country team competes at Plainview Meet

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity cross country team competed at Plainview this past weekend, finishing fourth as a team with 87 points.

Freshman, Jacob Escobedo, led the Mustangs with a 10th place finish, clocking a time of 19:20.08. Junior, Alejandro Santillan Favela, finished 18 th with a time of 20:43.13, while freshman, Jimmy Munoz, finished 23 rd with a time of 21:10.78.

Senior, Jimmy Guerrero, finished 26th with a time of 21:35.44, while freshman, Eduardo Ramirez, finished 29 th with a time of 21:58.46. Junior, Chris Urbina, finished 39 th with a time of 24:22.26, while senior, Jayton Riney, finished 43 rd with a time of 25:29.51, and freshman, Nathan Urbina, finished 44 th with a time of 27:23.44.
