Littlefield XC teams compete at Sundown

The Littlefield Lady Cats and Wildcats’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Oil Patch Invitational in Sundown on Saturday, where the Lady Cats placed 20 th overall with 475 points.

On the girl’s side, senior, Brianna Acevedo, finished 73 rd overall, clocking a time of 16:02.87, while freshman, Brinley Acevedo, finished 83rd with a time of 16:20.21.

Senior, Leilani Solis, finished 126 th with a time of 18:28.97, while junior, Rosa Chairez, finished 127th with a time of 18:33.75, and Danica Jouett finished 145th with a time of 19:23.16.

Senior, Zoe Garcia, finished 167 th with a time of 21:58.68.

On the boy’s side, sophomore, Omar Martinez, finished 14 th overall to lead the Wildcats, clocking a time of 18:57.65, while freshman, Brandon Marines, finished 95th with a time of 22:45.26.

Sophomore, Braedy Saenz, finished 113th with a time of 23:55.43, while freshman, Bradyn Redman, finished 128 th with a time of 27:36.27.

They will be competing at the District Cross County Meet on Saturday, Oct. 16th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
