The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team earned the District 4-A Championship last week at Plainview with 23 points to qualify them for Regionals.
The Lady Wolverines swept the top three spots individually, as freshman, Taytum Goodman, placed first with a time of 10:39.66, while sophomore, Kani Holmes, placed second with a time of 13:20.22 and freshman, Emma Samaron, placed third with a time of 13:27.56.
Junior, Mahalia Delgado finished eighth with a time of 14:33.97, while freshman, Sydnie Furr, finished 15th with a time of 15:26.91 and senior, Carsann Baker, finished 16th with a time of 15:27.98.
Freshman, Adamarie Hernandez, finished 22nd with a time of 16:30.12.
The Regional Meet will be held Nov. 9th and 10th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
