The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team stayed unbeaten in district play on Friday with a home win over Lazbuddie, 91-9.
With the win, the Lady Wolverines improve to 11-4 overall, 8-0 in district play.
Sophomore, Kani Holmes, led the way with 17 points, seven rebounds, six assists and eight steals, while freshman, Taytum Goodman, tallied 16 points, eigh rebounds, six assists and seven steals and senior, Carsann Baker, chipped in 16 points, four rebounds, three assists, five steals and one block.
Sophomore, Halee Toscano, 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, seven steals and one block, while junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, contributed nine points, 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks and freshman, Sydney Fun, tallied eight points, seven rebounds and two assists.
Junior, Mahalia Delgado, added six points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals and junior, Micaela Fuentes, finished with four points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals.
The Lady Wolverines hosted Hart on Tuesday. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season on Friday on the road against Anton.
Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
