Lady Wolverines take third at Mae Simmons

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team compete at the Lubbock Tim Torres “Pre” Coaches Meet at Mae Simmons on Saturday, where they placed third overall as a team with 79 points.

Freshman, Taytum Goodman, led the team, finishing first overall with a time of 12:00.90, while freshman, DeDe Delgado, finished 10th with a time of 15:07.68.

Sophomore, Kani Holmes, finished 11 th with a time of 15:14.53, while junior, Mahalia Delgado, finished 24 th with a time of 16:53.06, and freshman, Emma Samaron finished 33rd with a time of 18:12.14.

Freshman, Sydney Furr, finished 35th with a time of 18:32.41, and freshman, Adamarie Hernandez, finished 36th with a time of 18:34.07.

The Lady Wolverines will be competing again this upcoming weekend on October 3rd at Abernathy.
