The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ downed Cotton Center on Tuesday, 58-10, to stay unbeaten in district play.
With the win, the Lady Wolverines improve to 10-4 overall, 7-0 in district play.
Junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, led the team with a doubledouble, posting 12 points and 10 rebounds to go along with eight steals. Senior, Carsann Baker, joined her in double-figures scoring with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and six steals, while sophomore, Halee, Toscano, chipped in 10 points, one rebound, two assists and three steals.
Junior, Micaela Fuentes, tallied eight points, three rebounds, two assists and six steals, while sophomore, Kani Holmes, contributed five points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals. Junior, Mahalia Delgado, tallied five points, three rebounds, two assists and five steals, while freshman, Taytum Goodman, added, four points, two rebounds, three assists and 13 steals, and freshman, Sydney Fun, finished with four points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals.
The Lady Wolverines hosted Lazbuddie on Friday. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season on Tuesday with a home game against Hart.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
