The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team downed Hart, 77-28, on Tuesday, to stay unbeaten in district play.
With the win, the Lady Wolverines improve to 12-4 overall, 9-0 in district play.
Sophomore, Halee Toscano, led the team with 24 points, nine rebounds and seven steals, while junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, tallied 13 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and one steal and sophomore, Kani Holmes, contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and six steals.
Freshman, Taytum Goodman, tallied eight points seven rebounds, seven assists and13 steals, while freshman, Sydney Furr, contributed 12 points, five rebounds and two steals.
Junior, Micaela Fuentes, added five rebounds, one assist and one steal and senior, Carsann Baker, finished with seven points, 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal.
The Lady Wolverines were at Anton on Friday. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season on Tuesday with a road game against Kress.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
