The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity volleyball team took down River Road on the road, 3-2.
With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 3-5 overall on the season.
River Road took the first set, 10-25, but the Lady Cats bounced back to even the match, 1-1, by taking set two, 26-24.
River Road took set three, 22-
25, but the Lady Cats battled back to take set four and five, 25-20, and,15-6, to take the match, 3-2.
The Lady Cats hosted the Olton Fillies on Saturday at Wildcat Gym. Results were not available at press time. They will open district play at Brownfield next Tuesday against the Lady Cubs.
The First set is set to begin 6 p.m.
