Hornets place third at LCU

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity cross country team placed third in their division at the LCU Chaparral Invitational this past weekend with a combined time of 2:00:31.11.

The Hornets were led by freshman, Enrique Gonzalez, who finished 13 ^th with a time of 22:58.70. Freshman, Salvador Juarez, finished 15 ^th with a time of 23:26.40, while freshman, Alan Flores, finished 16 ^th with a time of 23:39.30.

Freshman, Joseph Willeford, finished 20 ^th with a time of 24:59.60, while sophomore, Josue Cervera, finished 23 ^rd with a time of 25:27.10, and freshman, Antonio Vargas, finished 24 ^th with a time of 26:03.50.

The Hornets will be back in action on Saturday when they compete at Smyer.
