Goodman places 1st, Lady
EIGHTH OVERALL – The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team competed against 269 runners, 36 total teams at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational on Saturday. They finished eighth overall, and were first out of 12 1A schools that competed in the event. Sophomore, Taytum Goodman ran an 11:03, breaking last years record that she set at the event. The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ cross country team placed eighth overall out of 36 teams in the small school division on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational.
Taytum Goodman led the team placing first overall, with a time of 11:03.00, while Reagan Ethridge finished 32 nd overall with a time of 13:27.80.
DeDe Delgado finished 78th overall with a time of 14:12.60, while Emma Samaron finished 80 th with a time of 14:14.80. Aryca Ibarra finished 105 th with a time of 14:36.30, while Mahalia Delgado finished 143 rd with a time of 15:22.80.
Marisa Rodriguez finished 166 th with a time of 15:54.10.
The Lady Wolverines will be running again on Sept. 18 th at Plainview.
