The Anton boy’s and girl’s varsity track teams competed at the Region I-1A Track Meet at South Plains College on Friday and Saturday.
Individual results are as follows:
Girl’s 800-meter run 15th Madison Campos 3:05.58 Girl’s 3,200-meter run 14th Jessica Rodriguez 15:54.36 Boy’s High Jump
6th Joseph Whillock J5-08.00 The Lady Dog’s 4x100-meter relay team of Bridget Thomas, Miliana Castillo, Alyssa Mancias and Alisiah Alafa finished 13th in the preliminaries with a time of 57.17, while Autilano Castillo finished 13th in the men’s 400-meter dash with a time of 57.07.
Conner Armstrong finished 12th in the men’s 300-meter hurdle preliminaries with a time of 47.52, while the women’s 4x400-meter relay team of Thomas, Castillo, Alafa and Isabela Juarez finished 15th with a time of 5:05.90.
