WOLVERINES SELECTED TO ALL-DISTRICT TEAMS

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity football team racked up the post-season All-District Awards, led by senior, Evan DeLeon, who was named the District’s Offensive MVP and senior, Keshan Holmes, who was named the District’s Defensive MVP.

First team All-District offensive selections include, junior wide receiver, Derrick Rosalez and senior wide receiver, Trace Goodman, senior spread center, Tim Tanaro, junior spreadback, Braxton Ethridge, junior utility back, Roel Fuentes and kicker, Keshan Holmes.

First team All-District Defensive selections include, defensive lineman, Fuentes, senior linebacker, Davey Crandall, safety, DeLeon and utility player, Rosalez.

Crandall was also a second team All-District tight end selection, while senior noseguard, Dori Samarron, and junior linebacker, Cain Tovar, were second team All-District defensive selections.

Josh Samaron and Jerry Gallegos earned Honorable Mention, while Academic All-District selections included Crandall, Goodman and Tanaro.
