The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity cross country team ran at the Region I-1A Regional Cross Country Meet at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Monday, where they finished sixth overall as a team with 173 points.
Sophomore, Taytum Goodman, shattered the competition, placing first overall with a blistering time of 10:55.2, qualifying her for the State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock.
Freshman, Reagan Ethridge finished 15 th with a time of 13:58.7, while sophomore, Emma Samaron, finished 30 th with a time of 14:37.1, and freshman, Aryca Ibarra, finished 48 th with a time of 15:03.5.
Freshman, Marisela Rodriguez, finished 79 th with a time of 16:02.7, while senior, Mahalia Delgado, finished 86 th with a time of 16:12.5.
The State Meet will be held Friday, Nov. 5 th and Saturday, Nov. 6 th at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock, Tx. The 1A girls will run at 8:30 a.m. on Nov 5 th
