The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity cross country team competed at the District 4-1A Cross Country Meet in Plainview on Tuesday.
Sophomore, Dennys Reyes, qualified for Regionals on Tuesday, when she placed ninth overall with a time of 14:15.28.
Junior, Nancy Rubio, finished 28 th with a time of 16:11.34, while freshman, America Pacheco, finished 32 nd with a time of 16:51.93, and sophomore, Maricella Gonzalez, finished 43 rd with a time of 19:41.50.
Regionals will be held on Oct. 25th at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
