The Anton Lady Dogs and Bulldogs’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Oil Patch Invitational in Sundown on Saturday, where the Lady Dogs finished 18 th with 445 points.
On the girl’s side, Junior, Andalesia Alonzo-Rivera, led the team, finishing 90th overall with a time of 16:41.53, while sophomore, Madison Campos, finished 100th with a time of 17:17.31, and freshman, Isabela Juarez, finished 102 nd with a time of 17:24.80.
Freshman, Jessica Rodriguez, finished 105 th with a time of 17:31.17, while junior, Bridget Thomas, finished 121st with a time of 18:15.59, and senior, Cienna Castillo Sias, finished 131st with a time of 18:40.28.
On the boy’s side, freshman, Adrian Castillo, finished 104th with a time of 23:29.63, while senior, Edmundo Avalos, finished 132nd with a time of 29:40.34.
They will be competing at the District Cross County Meet on Tuesday, Oct. 12th in Plainview.
