Wolverines finish 20th overall at LCU Invitational

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ cross country team placed 20 th overall out of 36 teams in the small school division with 553 points on Saturday at the LCU Chaps High School Invitational.

They were led by senior, Josh Samaron, who finished 78 th overall with a time of 19:46.90. Senior, Trace Goodman, finished 87 th overall with a time of 20:01.40, while sophomore, Gavin Gonzales, finished 136 th overall with a time of 20:56.70.

Dadwin Perez finished 175 th overall with a time of 22:07.20, while junior, Alex Alvarez, finished 176 th overall with a time of 22:08.90. Nehemia Castillo finished 175 th overall with a time of 22:10.90.

The Wolverines will be in action again on Saturday, Sept 18 th at Plainview.
