Lady Wolverines’ JV XC team earns district title

The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ JV cross country team earned the District 4-A Championship last week at Plainview with 15 points.

Angelina Tovar placed first overall with a time of 14;39.88, while Micaela Fuentes placed third with a time of 16:09.97. Amerie Medina placed fourth with a time of 16:10.93, while Katy Jones finished fifth with a time of 16:20.96.

Halee Toscano finished sixth with a time of 16:41.25, while Sayler Beerwinkle finished 11^th with a time of 17:29.94 and Jacksiry Figueroa finished 12^th with a time of 18:07.88.

Isabella Gonzales finished 15^th with a time of 20:51.91, while Anaveah Delao finished 16^th with a time of 21:02.12 and Grace McIver finished 21 ^st with a time of 27:05.97.
