HORNET INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS – The Olton boy’s varsity basketball team took first place this past weekend in Tulia at the 2021 Hornet Invitational. The Mustangs went 5-0, taking down Claude, 85-9; Brownfield, 76-39; Panhandle, 99-70; Spearman, 70-38, and the host team Tulia, 80-70. WHITHARRAL INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS – The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team went 3-0 this past weekend at the 2021 Whitharral Invitational, defeating the Sudan Nettes’ JV team in the championship game on Saturday, 66-41. Sayler Berrwinkle was named the tournament MVP on the girl’s side and Taytum Goodman was named to the All-Tournament team. Salvation Army assistance apps accepted on Dec. 17th

The Littlefield/Lamb County Salvation Army Extension Unit is now under the direction of the Lubbock Salvation Army Corps. Applications and interviews for social services (utility assistance and rent) are available twice monthly at the Lamb County Ag Center, 1095 E.
