First st week eek FISH-N-CHICKEN DRIVE-THRU—The doors to the Fish-n-Chicken Restaurant, located at 1906 South Hall Avenue (US Hwy 385) in Littlefield, are closed temporarily to “eat-in” customers because of the COVID-19 virus pandemic. Two customers were using their drivethru service Thursday, when this photo was snapped. The business is serving food through the drive-thru window, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. It is closed Sundays. Many other local drive-thru services are serving food for people in the Littlefield area. (Staff Photo by Joella Lovvorn)

Doors to the Courthouse locked during area COVID-19 pandemic

Lamb County Judge Mike DeLoach’s Office has announced that as of 12 noon, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the doors to the Lamb County Courthouse will be locked until further notice. Courthouse Departments and Offices will continue to function and operate normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am until 5 pm; but given Governor Abbott’s Executive Order limiting the size of public gatherings, County Judge Mike DeLoach announced Tuesday this measure would be taken out of an abundance of caution for both County employees and members of the public.
