Commissioners hold regular meeting Monday

The Commissioners Court of Lamb County held their regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 24th at the Lamb County Courthouse to discuss an 11-item agenda.The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m. by Lamb County Judge James DeLoach, and the Invocation was given by Lamb County District Judge Scott Say.

Jenna Stevenson wins at San Antonio Show

Jenna Stevenson, 14 year old, 8th grade student at Springlake-Earth High School was named Grand Champion at the 2025 Junior Commercial Steer Show at the San Antonio Livestock Show.

New Members Inducted to Littlefield Junior Honor Society

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Littlefield Junior Honor Society inducted 11 new members. Selections were made based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, service, and citizenship. To be inducted, a student must have an average of 90 or above in their academic classes.

Teachers would receive a pay raise and the state would create a schedule for regular pay increases based on years of service under a bill approved unanimously by the Senate Education K-16 Committee on Thursday.
