Lamb County sees increase in COVID cases

Lamb County Judge James M. DeLoach has issued an update on the COVID-19 virus cases in Lamb County, as of 4:33 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. He reported that there was a jump from the 19 known cases last Tuesday, Oct. 6, to the current 77 active cases that were reported to him over last weekend.

New World Screwworm has been confirmed in Zavala County Calf

On June 3 the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) received confirmation of a detection of New World screwworm (NWS) in Zavala County.

Angelo State University Announces Spring 2026 Dean’s List

Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, has announced students achieving the Dean’s List designation for the 2026 spring semester.To be eligible for the ASU Dean’s List, full-time undergraduate students must maintain a 3.25 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
