Wildcats fall to Cubs in district-opener, 58-52

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team opened district play last Tuesday, dropping a heart-breaker on the road to the Brownfield Cubs, 58-52. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 12-3 overall, 0-1 in district play.

Lady Cats blowout Brownfield, 76-32, in district action

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team moved into sole possession of first place in district 3-3A with a, 76-32, victory on the road over the Brownfield Lady Cubs. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 12-5 overall, 3-0 in district play.

Lockhart picks up 500th win as Nettes top Ralls, 79-24

Sudan Nettes’ Head Coach, Benny Lockhart picked up his 500th career win as a head coach, as the Nettes topped the Ralls Lady Rabbits, 79-24, in Sudan. With the win, the Nettes improve to 13-5 overall, 2-1 in district play.

Lady Cats move to 2-0 in district play

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team stayed unbeaten in district play on Friday with a home victory over Dimmitt, 55-32. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 11-5 overall, 2-0 in district play.

Nettes fall to Lady Wind on the road, 74-65

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team suffered their first loss of district play, as they fell on the road to the Floydada Lady Wind, 74-65. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 12-5 overall, 1-1 in district play.

Wildcats rally past Eagles, 63-55

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team closed out the pre-district scheduled with a home win over the Lubbock Christian Eagles, 63-55. With the win the Wildcats head into district play with an overall mark of 12-2.

Wildcats slay tigers, 78-62

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team went on the road and took down the Slaton Tigers on Tuesday, 78-62. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 11-2 overall on the year.

Fillie volleyball players earn Alldistrict honors

The Olton Fillies’ varsity volleyball team had several members earn All-District honors for District 2-2A. Emma Acker and Amie Beelitz earned first team All-District selections, while those who earned Honorable Mention were Analise Ramage, Evelyn Matute and Aspen Struve.
