Nettes take opener over Dimmitt, 23-5

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team won their season-opener on Saturday over the Dimmitt Bobbies, 23-5, in Sudan to open their 2024 season. With the win, the Nettes improve to 1-0 overall on the season.

Wildcats blow out cubs for District 3-3A #1 seed

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team faced off with the Brownfield Cubs for the third time this year in a seeding game on Friday at Lubbock-Cooper Liberty High School, taking the contest, 78-43, to earn the number one seed from District 3-3A heading into the play-offs.

Lady Cats fall to canadian in area round

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team saw their season come to an end on Friday night, as they fell to the Canadian Lady Cats, 46-32, in the Class 3A Area round of the play- offs at Canyon High School.

Fillies go 2- 1 at Tahoka on Saturday

The Olton Fillies varsity softball team picked up their first wins in program history on Saturday at Tahoka, where they went 2-1 for the tournament. In their first game against the Morton Maidens, the Fillies fell, 7-4.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team claimed their Class 3A Bi-district championship over the Kermit Lady Jackets on Monday, 6521, at Seagraves High School. With the win, the Lady Cats improve to 24-6 overall on the year.
