Wildcats place first at Muleshoe Golf Invitational

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity golf team took first place at the Muleshoe Golf Invitational on Tuesday in their second meet of the season. The team shot a 415, led by Samuel Mermella shot a 96. Jayce Longoria shot a 101, while Reece Miller shot a 104 and Noah Castaneda shot a 112.

Wildcat varsity/JV tennis collects 11 medals at Levelland Tournament

The Littlefield varsity and JV tennis teams competed in Levelland on Thursday, where they combined to bring home 11 medals.

Littlefield varsity tennis team wins Denver City TOurnament

The Littlefield varsity tennis team competed at Denver City on Friday where they brought home the team Championship. Julie Bownds and Chloe Sawyer took first place in girl’s doubles. Bownds and Sawyer played Idalou (6-2, 6-3); Kingdom Prep Academy (5-7, 6-3, 10-7) and Denver City (6-1, 4-6, 10-6).

Mustangs take down Greyhounds in Area round, 49-43

The Olton Mustang’s varsity basketball team punched their ticket to the Class 2A Regional Quarterfinals on Friday with a, 4943, victory over the Gruver Greyhounds at Caprock High School. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 22-11 overall.

Wildcats drop heart-breaker to Childress in Area round, 61-58

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity basketball team saw their season come to a heart-breaking end in the Area round of the Class 3A Basketball Play-offs, as they fell to #19 Childress on Friday at Floydada High School, 61-58.

Littlefield varsity track teams take fourth at Andrews

The Littlefield varsity track teams competed at the 2024 Andrews Relays in Andrews on Thursday with the Lady Cats taking fourth place overall with 57.5 points and the Wildcats placing fourth with 63 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Lindsay Coffman 13.

Fillies compete at Lockney Softball Tourney

The Olton Fillies’ varsity softball team competed at the Lockney Tournament this past weekend, where they went 1-4. The Fillies sit at 3-6 overall on the season. In their first contest against Kress on Thursday morning, the Fillies rallied past the Lady Roos, 15-10.

Lady Cats go 3-0 on the weekend at Tahoka

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team went 3-0 on the weekend at the Tahoka Tournament. With the wins, the Lady Cats improve to 4-1 overall on the year. In their tournament-opener, the Lady Cats took down Lubbock Cooper’s JV, 16-14.
