Littlefield JV track teams take third place at Denver City

The Littlefield JV track teams competed in their first full meet of the season at the Mustang Relays in Denver City on Friday with the Lady Cats taking third overall with61 points and the Wildcats placing third with 115 points.

Nettes run-rule lockney, 19-7

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team took down the Lockney Lady Horns on Tuesday, 19-7.With the win, the Nettes improved to 5-5-1 on the year.Haylee Toscano was hit by a pitch to begin the game, as Sudan got their lead-off batter aboard.

Hornets fall to Tulia, 14-3

The Sudan Hornets’ varsity baseball team fell to the Tulia Hornets on Monday, Feb. 24th, 14-3.With the loss, the Hornets fall to 3-2 overall on the year.

Mustangs fall short against Reagan County, 49-47

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team had their season come to an end on Tuesday, as they fell to the Reagan County Owls, 49-47, in the Class 2A- DI Regional Semi- Finals at Lamesa High School.With the loss, the Mustangs finish the season with a mark of 27- 5 overall on the year.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team, run ruled the Sundown Roughnecks on Monday, 10-0, behind a stellar pitching performance from senior, Chip Green, who struck out 12 batters on the night, giving up just one hit and one walk.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 3-2 overall on the year.
