Wildcats run rule Bobcats, 15-3, to take season series

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team swept their season series with the Dimmitt Bobcats on Tuesday with a, 153, victory in six innings.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 19-7 overall, 10-3 in district play.

Nettes drop game one to Tahoka, 6-4

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team began a threegame series with the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs on Thursday, dropping game one in Sudan, 6-4, in the Class 2A-D2 Bi-district round of the softball playoffs.

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team saw their season come to an end on Thursday night in Plainview, as they fell to the Bushland Lady Falcons, 10-1, in the Class 3A-DI Bi-district round of the softball play-offs.

Lady Cats fall in season finale at Slaton, 4-2

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team closed out their regular season on the road on Thursday, as they fell to the Slaton Tigerettes, 4-2.With the loss, the Lady Cats finish the regular season with a mark of 15-8 overall, 7-5 in district play.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team shutout the Friona Chieftains in five innings on Tuesday evening, 18-0, at Wildcat Field.With the win, the Wildcats improve to 17-7 overall, 8-3 in district play.
The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity golf team placed second at the Regional Golf Tournament at Meadowbrook in Lubbock, punching their ticket to the State Golf Tournament.
