LADY CATS TAKE SECOND AT A-TOWN RELAYS

The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cats’ varsity track teams competed at the A-Town Relays in Abernathy on Friday with the girls placing second with 123 points and the boys finishing fourth with 81 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 2nd Emily Champion 13.

Lady Cat JV track takes second, boys finish third at A-Town Relays

The Littlefield Wildcat and Lady Cat JV track teams competed at the A-Town Relays in Abernathy on Friday with the girls placing second overall with 145 points and the boys finishing third with 132 points. Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash lst Shamicha Wilson 13.

Nettes fall to Floydada, 22-0

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team fell to the Floydada Lady Wind on Saturday, 22-0. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 1-9 overall on the season. Floydada opened the game with a five-run bottom of the first, and added six runs in the second and eight runs in the bottom of the third inning.

Nettes place second at Roughneck Relays, boys finish 4th

The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ varsity track teams competed at the Roughneck Relays on March 23rd with the girls placing second with 146 points and the boys finfourth with 71 Individual results are as follows: Girl’s 100-meter dash 10th Baker 16.15 Boy’s 100-meter dash 5th Jeremiah Castillo 12.

NETTES FALL TO SUNDOWN, 34-23

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team was doomed by errors and walks, as they fell to the Sundown Roughettes on Monday, 34-23. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 1-8 overall on the season.

FIRST TEAM NAIA ALL-AMERICAN

FIRST TEAM NAIA ALL-AMERICAN - Wayland Baptist Flying Queens senior, Kaylee Edgemon, became a three-time NAIA All-American selection with her recent first team selection on Friday. She received Honorable Mention All-American honors the past two seasons.

Lady Cats stumble in district-opener against Lamesa, 12-2

The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity softball team fell on the road on Tuesday to the Lamesa Lady Tornadoes, 12-2, in their district-opener. With the loss, the Lady Cats fall to 5-3 overall, 0-1 in district play.

TGCA All-State selection

TGCA ALL-STATE SELECTION – Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverine junior, Sayler Beerwinkle, was selected to the TGCA BASKETBALL ALL-STATE TEAM. She was also a TABC ALL-Region selection.
