The Littlefield Lady Cats’ varsity basketball team improved to 2-0 in district play on Tuesday, as they went on the road and took down the Denver City Fillies, 50-29. Melissa Soto was fouled on an at tempt by Brookelyn Gau to open the contest.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team used a second half surge to take down the Littlefield Wildcats at Mustang Gym on Monday, 76-54. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 15-2, while the Wildcats fall to 3-10 overall on the season.

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team cruised to a victory on the road on Friday over the Plains Cowboys, 84-38. With the win, the Mustangs improve to 14-2 overall on the season. Olton came out hot in the first quarter, pouring in 26 points.

Nettes fall at home to Seminole, 61-33

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team fell to the Seminole Maidens at home on Monday, 61- 33. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 10-8 overall on the season. It was a tight game early on, with Seminole clinging to a one-point advantage at the end of one, 11- 10.
