Olton varsity track teams compete at Panhandle

The Olton varsity track teams competed at the Panhandle Spring Break Worker’s Meet at Panther Stadium in Panhandle on Friday with the Mustangs finishing seventh overall with 70 points and the Fillies finishing 14 th with two points.

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team’s comeback bid fell short on Tuesday night in Slaton, as they fell to the Tigers, 10-8. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 3-6-1 overall on the season.

NETTES FALL IN SECOND MEETING WITH SUNDOWN

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team fell to Sundown on Saturday, 15-12, in their second meeting of district play. With the loss, the Nettes fall to 1-1 in district play.

Nettes take down Lady OWls, 26-13

The Sudan Nettes’ varsity softball team got back into the win column on Tuesday with a, 26-13, home victory over the Hale Center Lady Owls. With the win, the Nettes improve to 2-1 in district play.

Mustangs earn All-District basketball post-season honors

The Olton Mustangs’ varsity basketball team finished the season as 2A Regional Semi-Finalists this year and earned several postseason All-District Honors.

Alex Tenorio had a day for the Lady Cats’ varsity softball team on Saturday, as she blasted three homeruns in a 4-4 day at the plate against Lubbock Christian High School at the Seminole Tournament, as Littlefield took the contest, 22-8.
