The Springlake-Earth Varsity track teams had three athletes compete at the Class 1A State Track Meet on Saturday at the University of Texas at Austin. On the girl’s side, sophomore, Taytum Goodman finished seventh overall in the team standing with 21 points.

WILDCATS SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE AGAINST FALCONS

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity baseball team saw their season come to a close Friday night in Plainview, as they fell in game two of their three-game Area Play-off series to the Bushland Falcons, 5-1. With the loss, the Wildcats close out the regular season with a record of 14-14-1 overall.

Littlefield drops game 1 to Bushland, 10-0

The Littlefield Wildcats’ varsity football team couldn’t get the offense going in game one of their three-game Area Play-off series on Thursday in Plainview, as they dropped the contest, 10-0. With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 14-13-1 overall on the season.

The Springlake-Earth Wolverines’ varsity baseball team fell short in their comeback efforts on Thursday afternoon, as they fell to the Kress Kangaroos, 6-4, in the Class 1A Regional Quarterfinal at Wilder Field in Plainview.
