The Littlefield varsity tennis team competed at Denver City on Friday where they brought home the team Championship.
Julie Bownds and Chloe Sawyer took first place in girl’s doubles. Bownds and Sawyer played Idalou (6-2, 6-3); Kingdom Prep Academy (5-7, 6-3, 10-7) and Denver City (6-1, 4-6, 10-6).
Madison Brown and Brady Jones won second place in mixed doubles and Kaylee Soria and Jayce Longoria won third place in mixed doubles.
Brown and Jones played Slaton (6-0, 6-1) and Abernathy (6-4, 4-6, 4-10).
Longoria and Soria played Abernathy (2-6, 3-6) and Slaton (6--2, 6-3).
The tennis team was back in action on Wed. Feb. 29th in Levelland. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season on March 6th when they host Idalou for a dual.
They are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
