Lady Wolverines fall to 2A #4 Sundown, 74-48

    The Springlake-Earth Lady Wolverines’ varsity basketball team clashed with 2A #4 Sundown on Tuesday, as they fell to the Roughettes, 74-48.

    With the loss, the Lady Wolverines fall to 1-4 overall on the season.

    Taytum Goodman led the team with 21 points, to go along with four steals, two assists and six rebounds, while Halee Toscano joined her in double-figures scoring with 15 points, to go along with two steeals, five rebounds, one assist and one block.

    Emma Samaron tallied six points, five rebounds and two assists, while Rylie Furr added three points, five rebounds, one steal and one assist. Aryca Ibarra tallied two points and two rebounds, while Jade Hill finished with one point and two rebounds.

    The Lady Wolverines were at the Whiteface Tournament this weekend. Results were not available at press time. They will continue their season on Tuesday with a home game against Meadow.

    Tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
