The Amherst Lady Bulldogs’ varsity basketball team fell on the road to the Whiteface Lady Lopes on Friday, 59-7.
Whiteface jumped out to a, 21-2, lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Lady Lopes tacked on 17 points to take a, 38-2, lead into the locker room at halftime.
Journey Baker drained a three in the third quarter to trim the lead to, 505, going into the final quarter of play. America Pacheco dropped in a bucket for Amherst in the fourth quarter, as they fell to the Lady Lopes, 59-7.
The Lady Bulldogs will be Clovis Christian on Friday for a non-district match-up. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
