The Sudan Hornets and Nettes’ varsity cross country teams competed at the Littlefield Invitational Cross Country Meet last Saturday, where the Nettes finished 6th overall with 142 points.
The varsity girls were led by Sophomore, Anneke Van De Pool, who placed sixth overall, clocking a time of 13:51.34. Senior, Aubrey Lopez, finished 18th overall with a time of 14:15.75, while freshman, Leah Rose, finished 31st with a time of 15: 01.31, and senior, Danyelle Castillo, finished 40th overall with a time of 15:22.35.
Senior, Kalissa Harris, finished 57th with a time of 16:00.79.
The varsity boys were led by junior, Samuel Briseno, who finished 14th overall with a time of 18:09.31, and sophomore, Miles Ledbetter, who finished 23rd overall with a time of 18:50.47.
