David DeWayne Davis 50, lifetime resident of Anton/Littlefield area, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at home. He was born November 23, 1971 in Lubbock, to Jim Davis Sr. and Phyllis McClanahan Davis. David was a contract painter who enjoyed computers and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.

Samuel Martinez, 95, of Olton, died Friday, April 1, 2022, in Olton. Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2022, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton with Fr. Jeremy Trull officiating. Interment followed at Olton Cemetery, with Ramage Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Loyd Cowan went home to be with the Lord and his wife, Mary Cowan, on Saturday, March 27, 2022. His heart was broken the day they found out Mary was diagnosed with cancer. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home and his heart was healed as he set eyes on her once again.
